A few days back my car started making a screeching/squealing sound when turning the key to ignition. I changed the serpentine belt but sound is still present… sound stemmed to go away, but I loosened the belt a bit just in case. A few days later, today, sound seems to still be present before ignition and a few seconds after ignition. Also it seems as if my car is taking a longer time to crank up.
Having two threads about the same problem will just confuse the people trying to help you . It might be best to delete this one and just use your other one.
