Also, I’m not sure if the cargo cover(the little slide out cover that detracts prying eyes from you having anything in the cargo area) can actually be removed. I haven’t tried taking it out, but I’m sure it could. Nor am I sure if the lower end models offer it or not, the GT model I have has it. But with the seats down, it should still give enough room for the dog to move
Have you considered buying the car you now have. That is likely you most economic option at this time. Leasing is the most expensive way of having a car.
