02 vue with blown block. 02-03 is known for bad timing chain oiling issues. i found a good 04 motor but i read that the cyl head may have egr ports and the exhaust manifold may have AIR mounting bosses and so on. so, i can swap the 02 head onto the 04 block and reuse exhaust manifold. but, does the 04 block have different timing chain oiling ports or some such issues? you come across things. nice vue, bad motor. good used motor. you fix things. do the math.
Saturn tech said the air stuff is a Cali emissions thing. Around 08 is when the 4cyl motors started having swap issues. An 08 might not go into an 02 easily. So a 02-04 should have less issues.
