I have a 2003 S10 Pickup LS ext Cab 4WD Pickup with a V6. I ordered new tires for it. The option I got was P235/70R15 and after I ordered the tires I noticed that the truck has P235/75R15 on it. Is there going to be a big difference in the tires?
I ordered them from a local mechanic and most of the web sites stated the 70 for the size.
What size is on the sticker on the door jamb, or listed in your manual? It might have the (very slightly) wrong size on it right now.
P235/75R15
I have the opposite problem. I was debating replacing the 235/70R15 tires on my 2000 S10 Blazer 4wd with 235/75R15. The larger tires were optional on the Blazer.
The 235/70R15 and 235/75/R15 tires have diameters of 28" and 28.9" respectively. The 235/70R15 is about 3.2% smaller. The only difference should be the speedometer reading which is going to be a little higher than the actual speed.
For example:
235/75R15 235/70R15
30 mph 31.0 mph
50 mph 51.6 mph
70 mph 72.3 mph
It’s up to you if you want to go through the hassle of returning the tires or not. What is the tire size on the door sticker?

Thanks for the Info. I think my speedometer is a little off already. My GPS normally shows a lower speed. The sticker has 235/75R15.
The smaller tire size also has less load carrying capacity and that increases the risk of a load related tire failure, which sometimes has tragic results.
I think you need to get the properly sized tires on the truck for safety’s sake.
