It could, depending upon just how bad a condition the mounts are in.
Thank very much, could it be possible that the mounts would go with only 86,000 miles on it?
Absolutely. I had to replace the “dogbone” front motor mount on a Chevy with only about 60k on the odometer.
And, if the engine ever had a serious oil leak, that makes it even more likely for the rubber in the motor mounts to have deteriorated by 86k. Is there a lot of oil on the engine and other areas under the hood?
