Replacement oil pan for Hyundai Tucson

Aluminum oil pan has a hairline crack but is not leaking. Dealer service says there are no aftermarket substitutes and they charge $335 for parts and $225 for labor. Is it safer to do this now or can I wait until a leak develops?

Google is your friend . I did a quick search and yes there are replacement oil pans . You should not be at a dealer for a 13 year old vehicle anyway. Call some local independent shops and you may find a less expensive solution.

Thanks for your suggestions.
