I have a 2003 Ford f150 170k and I recently replaced all six fuel injectors now with the key in the on position the fuel pressure rises to 30psi then drops to zero. Upon inspection I found out that the fuel injectors are all six spraying fuel into the cylinder flooding it. I removed all six spark plugs and cranked it and it shot out gasoline out of every cylinder. My question is why are the injectors held open, there not plusing the car won’t start it hydro locks after a while of cranking
You have likely caused a short circuit on the injector ground wire which actuates the injectors. check for a pinched wire or a wire chafed bare against the engine.
