Remember to park the car in the sun on a hot day after you get them installed and let them bake. That’ll help them tighten to the seat contours - they’ll be slightly loose when you first install them.
If it gave me an enjoyable project and made my wife happy, maybe. If a trip to the auto recycler is in the deal, too. for good used leather seats, I couldn’t resist!
Sometimes, if you can find a seat that’s in better shape than yours. Oftentimes you end up having to replace the foam padding under the seat cover because it disintegrates over time. As long as you’re doing all that, then if you want the better seats, might as well grab 'em from the junkyard and do all the work outside of the car.
