Rear window wiper

2000 GMC Jimmy

The rear window wiper doesn’t work properly. Sometimes it will go part way and then stop, or not do anything. I can hear the motor trying to move the wiper blade, but it won’t. What can be done to resolve this? The defrost works fine.

Remove the wiper arm and check if the splines in the arm are striped out. If they are, it’s just a matter of replacing the wiper arm.
