I have a 1993 Nissan pickup that has not been started for 3 years. I believe the old gas should be replaced with fresh & the oil & filter changed. I have been told to squirt some oil into the cylinders thru the spark plug holes before starting it. Any other advice would be appreciated!
Siphon out a sample of the gas and compare it to a sample of fresh gasoline…Use small glass jars for this…If the gas in the truck looks and smells different than the fresh gas, siphon it ALL out before you attempt to start the truck…Degraded gasoline can QUICKLY gum up and engine…
