1994 ford ranger -
I am seeing on occasion smoke coming in the vents and a heavy smell of antifreeze. I notice the windshield has a coating on it, but the car does not run hot. I have also had to fill the fluid frequently. What needs to be repaired?
Get the engine nice and hot. Open the hood and look for rising steam. The rising steam will give away the location of the leak.
You have a leaking heater core.
