I just purchased a new exhaust system for my 98 Camry. The front pipe section and the muffler section are by Walker and the center pipe by Bosal. When dry-fitting the parts, I noticed there were gaps between the flanges, the largest being about a half an inch. Is this okay, or do I have to cut off the excess pipe so the flanges fit flush together? Thanks!
Replacing an exhaust system with mixed brand aftermarket parts is ALWAYS going to require a certain amount of custom fitting…You will need to do whatever it takes to make it fit properly and not leak…
