Youtube video (part 1) on how to replace the bulbs. It doesn’t seem that difficult to me, but I’m perfectly happy to rip a car apart (yes, and put it back together again).
I’m not sure they actually require the HID bulbs. There are others (non HID) available. of course, they’ll use more juice, which will impact fuel to some degree.
