I have a 2001 Mercury Sable that loses power if agressively acclerated above 50 MPH. It has new plugs and distributor wires which helped but it is not perfect. Any thoughts?
The first question would be something like the commercial for the Subaru Justy. Does it have an engine? Yours could have an easy solution known to somebody who works on your specific engine. Also: Has any maintenance been done at recommended intervals? It’s better to type more info than less. At this point, it would be wild guesses as to the problem.
When was the last time your air filter, and fuel filter were replaced? You might want to get the fuel pump checked.
