have 2000 infinity i30. driver seat does everything(up , down , tilts) but will not go backward or forward

To prove out the switch unplug it and run a hot wire power supply to run the motors separately. up/down is one motor for front and one for back ( allowing tilt ), forwrd/backward is another.
