Pontiac Grand Prix not running

My wife’s 99’ Grand Prix stalled on her while on her way to work. She said that the “oil change” and " oil light" came on. We towed it back to the house and when I try to start it, it cranks but it doesn’t start unless the gas pedal is pressed down completely. If I let go, it dies and when it’s running, it’s irratic.

First, don’t run the car until you have checked the oil level. Verify the oil level, since the red oil light came on. That may not be the real issue, but one that needs to be resolved before you start the car again.

It sounds like you have a fuel supply issue (runs only if gas pedal pressed down completely), and a diagnosis of the fuel supply, gas filter, etc probably needs to be done.
