OK I have a Grand am pontiac 2000 … I have been driving along and have had the ABS light come on…so I pull over and turn off ignition like the book states …I then turn it back on and sometimes it does turn on sometimes it is like the battery is dead. Is that the security sensor kicking in so I cant start it or is it something else? I have had to boost it to get it going…but then again the light reappears shorty after…is it the breaks?
Your alternator is most likley failing and not charging the battery. The most common sign of this is the ABS light and or the battery or alternator light coming on. when the voltage or amperage get to low these systems will fail and turn on the light. Have your charging system checked A.S.A.P.
