Engine over it’s at ideal when air con is running. It’s been happening for some years now, need help.
I have remived the thermostat and change the radiator but still the same.
I doubt if anything you do now is going to save an engine that has been overheating for years, at least nothing you could do at a cost you could justify for a 22 year old truck.
Check the operation of the engine cooling fan. If they’re electric, they are probably supposed to come on when the AC is turned on. If it’s a mechanical fan with a fan clutch, maybe the fan clutch isn’t doing its job anymore.
