I put a new computer in my 1998 Chrysler Sebring (2.5L 6 cyl). Now neither the overdrive (OD)dash light or mechanism are working; thus the car will not “downshift” at 40mph as it should and is “stuck” in second gear. Also the SRS dash light is on. Can these be corrected with some kind of programming to the new computer or how do I fix it? Especially the shifting problem. Thanks

I can’t help with the Chrysler computer, but I can help with your problem description. It sounds like the problem that you have is that the transmission isn’t upshifting to the higher gears. Downshifting is in the other direction.
