Three hundred miles, three thousand miles, thirty thousand miles you are still buying a car that is, or soon will be, three years old by the model year. I purchased a new Toyota Sienna minivan about 2 months ago. The dealer had 2010 models and 2011 models. I went for the 2011. After negotiating for both of them, the 2011 seemed like a better deal. Next year at this time it will still be a current model.
