I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 with about 120K miles on it. Lately my cruise control has been intermittently not working. I never know from day to day when I turn on the car if it will be working. Sometimes I press the cruise button, and nothing happens, no light on the dash, and no cruise. Other times, the light comes right on, and it works. What could this be attributed to?
Sounds like and electrical problem…a ground somewhere ?
Hmm. That could explain why I am also always getting a little shock when I first touch the car. It could have to do with my low-budget satellite radio install, but that was a few years ago. The problem just started.
