93 saturn sc1.When the odometer stoped working i replaced it with another one showing 143.000 miles.the second odometer stoped working 800 miles later.The main reason i use the odometer,is to fill the gas tank every 150 miles,because the fuel gage shows full when i fill it up,but 20 miles later the nedle goes to one quater or less.Please help me solve this problem.Thanks karting.
Most likely solution: Replace odometer (with new if possible) and replace fuel level sender.
Take the old odometer apart and determine why it failed. If you cannot see the problem yourself, take the head to a speedometer shop and have them inspect the head to see why it failed.
If you find out why either unit failed, please post back to let us know. I am curious
