My Oldsmobile Intrigue will not start sometimes. Apparently this is a common problem. The security light will flash when the key is turned on, but the car will not turn over or even click. If I wait about 15 minutes, then it will start. Any answers? I know that it has to do with the passlock system.
Try a different key, it may be worn. Do you have alot of stuff on your key ring? It could be the weight.
You need to get hold of a Tech2 (GM scanner) And a troubleshooting guide. reprograming probably required I dont know if the software has made it out of the dealer arena. With the right software,the right cable.A PC and a Tech2 anyone can walk their way through the diagnostics/programing menu.
