Some vehicles have an engine shutdown feature when the engine oil pressure falls off. I have looked, in various sources, but I can’t find the oil pressure VALUE (psi) at which the PCM (engine computer) shuts the engine off. The oil pressure will INDICATE 25 psi on the dash gage (throttle at idle), and the computer shuts the engine off. What psi is the shutdown psi? Can the shutdown psi point, in the engine computer, be adjusted?
