I’d try cleaning the area with brake cleaner and a little scrubbing.
Then Permatex has a “hardening” (vs non hardening) gasket sealer. I’d just put some on my finger and rib it in. Keep adding a little to your fonger and keep doing it a couple of times.
Then let it sit for a weekend and it might harden up enough to seal the leak up.
