@Jaam - what oil viscosity do you use and what does Honda recommend? It should be in your owner’s manual.

So if that means 1/2 qt in a 1000 miles, no problem.
If that means 1 1/2 qt in a 1000 miles, a bit of a problem.

realize that many companies say 1/2 quart every 1000 miles is fine…but only my Vega’s burned that much oil. All other vehicles used less then 1/2 quart for 5000 miles. I personally don’t think 1/2 quart every 1k miles is acceptable. My 4rnner with over 220k miles uses about 1/2 PINT every 5k miles.
