I looked at a '92 Lumina sedan the other day that had a small black “flag” partially covering the last three digits of the million mile odometer. It showed only 83,uuu miles. I THINK this is an indicator that the odo has been tampered with. Am I right? I’ve heard of odometer “flags” but I’ve never seen before.
I don't know about modern odometers, but the old ones would show white spaces between the numbers.
