I have a restored 1978 toronado and installed a new battery, I drove it for a day and then parked it for 2 days and when I tried to start it its completely dead no lights, no horn nothing and the battery is fully charged HELP!!
You have a bad connection somewhere, maybe one of the battery cables. Check BOTH ends of both cables. A loose or corroded ground connection has the same effect as a loose or corroded connection at a battery terminal.
Also check the continuity of the cables themselves.
Also, don’t forget the fusible link. (If you don’t know, just ask.)
We also want to hear why you think the battery is still fully charged.
I’ll second SteveF on both points.
