2003 Buick Lesaber with the classic signs of a front left bearing failing. I replaced the hub assembly. The old bearing came out in pieces. Not only do the same symptoms persist, there is an annoying humming that gets louder as speed increases. Thinking I may have installed a faulty bearing, I replaced it again without success. Next I inspected the control arms, bushings, cv joints, axles and boots, ball joints, and everything else I could think of. Any suggestions?
Could it be that the right front has failed?
You might want to check the rear hub bearings as well.
Is there a chance that the belt tensioner pulley is also bad? Alternator bearings? Power steering pump?

I know that normally CV joints click on turns when worn out, but could it be the CV joint? Also a bent backing plate for the brakes.
