I HAVE A 2000 INFINITI I30 AND IT KIND OF STRUGGLES GETTING TO 40 MPH AND IT ALSO HAS LOST OF POWER GOING UP A BRIDGE BUT NOT ALL THE TIME NO LIGHTS ARE ON BUT THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON FROM TIME TO TIME I WENT TO GET A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND IT GAVE ME THE CODES PO300 PO732 P1126 PO731 I THINK THE COMPUTER IS GOING OUT PLEASE HELP
Cannot help you finding out what codes mean but if light flashes do not drive it but it is ok if it stays on for a while.
P0300: Random/Multiple Misfires
P0732: Gear 2 Ratio Incorrect
P0731: Gear 1 Ratio Incorrect
P1126: Manufacturer-controlled Air-Fuel Mixture Metering
It’s unlikely (but possible) the computer is going as it is one of the most reliable parts on your car. Those other problems/codes listed above should be checked first before suspecting a bad computer.
P0731 and P0732 are transmission-related; perhaps transman is lurking and can give you a better idea on those.
