It’s not his car, he sold it several years ago.
Yeah, I sold it back in 2008.
The rear lettering was something I was unable to find at the time- most people get rid of most, if not all, of the badging. Hell, the front inner fenders had to be ordered from ebay 2nd hand- there were no new ones being offered at the time- the front outer fenders had to have patch panels put on because no new sheet metal was available for the '65. The 64-65 model years were very difficult to find parts for, usually the places had 66 on up, and they weren’t compatible with the 64-65 generation.
Meh, depends on my mood. I don’t usually troll people on this forum, hardly need to as the mod team is usually on the ball about removing spam posts(the very rare ones of my own included).
Looks like no luck
Did you really think that a web site with hundreds, even thousands of active car enthusiasts members from all over the globe would really give you the “keys to the Kingdom” (a low-mileage, high-value, barn-kept treasure, at a give-away price)?
Respect is earned, not offered gratis…
I’ll save you my copy of last month’s Autotrader…
I’ve bought cars from forum connections before, I never said anything about a giveaway price nor am I looking for a “barn find” (this isn’t a 70s muscle car) and I’m willing to pay thousands of dollar for a finders fee to someone who could help if possible. Keep rambling.
It could take years before anyone replies with a lead, there are only 20 to 25 active daily members here. Most new members don’t make it through the hazing process.
You must be counting stuffed animals and grandchildren in your estimate.
I am counting on one of the grandkids showing up with a barn-find Duesenberg…
Hey Gramps, Mr. Wilson paid me $5.00 to clean out his barn, he said I could keep anything I found, ain’t it great, I also found a “Rock 'n Sock 'em Set…”
Every car in the parking lot is a “bran find”, Monte Carlo, VW Cabriolet, Mustang II, Jaguar.
Junior is sitting in an Auburn (replica).
Scam website unfortunately
