How about “The Tappet Tales” or “2 Much Car Talk”? The ‘2’ refers to the second show.
“Car Watch” - get it? Like Car Talk, except for its on TV LOL

How about: “Loose Lug Nuts”
My suggestions:
Tappet Dance
The Flying Magliozzi Brothers (or perhaps the Lying Magliozzi Brothers)
Tar Caulk
Try this on for size: “The Great Boston Automobile Disaster”
Tales from the 1,001 Obfuscations
Tales from the Third Half
Kings of Obfuscation
my boyfriend Al thinks you should call your show “Listen UP” since you are originally a talk show…plus i listen to your show every week (ive never owned a car but love listening to you guys!) and you seem to say this often.

Timing is Everything!
“Loose Nuts” was my first thought.
“The Lugnuts” or “The Lugnut Brothers” would work too.
“What sounds is it making?”
Greetings Gentlemen -
I suggest the name “The Tappet Racket.” I hope (from listening to you guys for all these years), rather than expect, that you appreciate the lovely double entendre of this name.
How about “Grunge, Grime, and Steel.” Jarrod Diamond has a sense of humor but if he gripes offer to fix his car.

Congrats on the show, fellas! I think it’s about time PBS be taken down a peg. My suggestion: “The 3rd Half Of The Show!” This way you don’t have to come up with a new tag line, and you’ll be able to shamelessly plug your new media venture! Best of luck! Oh, and I think my cameo will look best if drawn with pastels and earthtones. See you on the set!
Sincerely,

UP IN FLAMES With Click and Clack
The Sensibility of Schmooze Show
The biggest revelation for me in checking out the upcoming show was reading that Tom will be Click and Ray will be Clack, as I’ve always imagined it the other way around–not that I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about it, you understand. Kinda like finding out that Moe was actually Curly and Larry was Shemp! Anyway . . . don’t know if anyone else has suggested this, but I think you should call the new series CRANK CASES. It seems like a good description on more than one level. Thanks!
