Two long-time friends, a psychiatrist and a proctologist (poke-mon), decided to go into business together. They rented a building and hung out a shingle: “Jones & Smith, Queers & Rears”


Of course, the local gendarmes were up in arms! “Can’t have that in our town”, they were advised.

After some consideration and some quick sign painting, the new sign went up: “Jones & Smith, Nuts & Butts”. Soon there were nooses hanging from the trees out front and torchlight marches to contend with.

Again came some soul-searching, and a new sign. While not everyone was placated, at least most of the windows were still intact when they came to work the following day. “Jones & Smith”, it proudly proclaimed
 “ODDS & ENDS”

So here we have the ‘Odds’ attempting to arrive at an ‘End’ or solution. Oh, well, what the heck
