I like “car capers with click n’ clack” or “tappit tales”
Tom & Ray Car Talk Gods ???
Life Mechanics or the Mechanics of Life
Gearheads
CarTalk 2D is a great suggestion. Familiar, descriptive, and a little witty !!
I have two:
“Is Your Check Engine Light On?”
or the simpler “Let’s Talk Cars”
I spent hours researching the entire history of TV and Radio marketing. I fed all the names of every show that has ever been into a huge, all-powerful computer. And after asking it repeatedly to “open the pod bay doors”, a bell went off and a little slip of paper popped out of its answer slot. I was shocked and surprised. (Mostly because I never realized that every huge, all-powerful computer comes with an answer slot!) The answer to the question posed by Tom and Ray was simple and decidedly unoriginal: the little slip of paper said “Don’t Drive Like My Brother!” Well…at least I think that was the question it was supposed to answer. Oh boy, maybe I better go back and check. Sorry for the confusion. Uhhh, why don’t you guys go back to what you were doing. I’ll have to get back to you on this…
How about “Auto Pilots”
I may have the perfect name for you new show! It sums up the hosts and the calls with just two words.
“HIGH MILEAGE”
How about Wrench Monkeys?
how about “lug nuts” or “we didn’t do it!”
Dead Car Radio (yeah, yeah, I know it’s tv. but my car radio’s dead and there’s no stinkin’ tv in my four-wheeled friend)
Hi guys.
My suggestion: HAHVAD SQUARE HIJINKS …the illusion of ivy, for your PBS personae.
Good luck reading all the posts!
-we love you way out west
HAL??? I thought we lost you in the last century. Please get back in touch.

Tapped Out! The Continuing Adventures of Click and Clack.
- Chris Tapper (not kidding!) of Brighton, Massachusetts. If you need any more “Tapp” puns, I have 25 years of them.
How about: “Don’t Drive Like My Brother”
‘Car Talk goes Sketch’
‘Sketchy Car Talk’
‘Click and Clack get Sketchy’
How about “Wrench Monkeys” sounds like the TV show will be great hit!! Can’t wait to see it.
P.S. or here’s another possibility “Don’t Drive Like My Brother”
Thanks Chris
Dear Knuckleheads,
I believe “Dont Drive Like My Brother” would be an exceptional title (“Cavemen” was already taken). I also am rather partial to “Touched By A Mechanic”, “Our Lousy TV Show”, “Our Fair City”, and “How I Met Your Brother”.
I just thought I’d add I grew up listening to you guys and I believe that thats why I cant ever diagnose or fix my cars correctly.
ciao
