How about âAnother Perfectly Good Hourâ or or half hour, however long the show is
TWO WILD AND CRAZY GUYS
There can be but one choice for a name!
âDonât Drive Like My Brother!â
âLOST IN TRANSMISSIONâ
âOIL AND WATERâ
âTHE BROTHERS CARATALKOFâ
âMOTOR MOUTHSâ
As the Wheel Turns
maybe not PC enough (as this IS PBS / NPS (sic) ! ) but how about * âClickity Clack, Someone Needs A SmackâŠâ * (or just âClickity ClackâŠâ I guess)⊠anywayâŠ
Since it will be a tv show rather than a talk show, I assume each episode will relate a story. In that case, how about:
âCar Tales - Good, Bad, and Bogusâ
âThe Retreadsâ
âGreasedâ
Wrecks
Car Tune Talk
âWelcome to Car Talkâ
I think the new show should be called
The Click and Clack Piston Moan Show
Donât know whether anyone else thought of this, but, while driving yesterday, I thought of:
ROAD NOISE
O.K. fellas - how about âCar Tubeâ? Yes - itâs true. A certain other tube that rhymes with âOoooâ - or in itâs vintage form -âOoobâ - paved the way for the name but donât you think itâs a rather nice fit? Yes the showâs a âcar-toonâ and itâs certainly going to have âcar-ismaâ but really puns are lower on the joke hierarchy scale then even a âlousyâ show like yours deserves to be saddled with. Admittedly, our expert market analyst recognizes weâve done a little recycling here but still - the name is the obvious. Itâs clever, cool, straight forward, and easy to say. Just like Car Talk. Only âtubier.â And beautifully self-explanatory. A natural and funny extension of popular culture married to the quirkiest quick wits in the talk show business. Anyway, whatever the name - your new showâs a winner, no doubt. Just one question. What took ya so long?
Autoneurotic Fixation
Noise, Vibration, and Harshness
âJALOPY JUNCTIONâ the âmedi-carâ program for the young and old. Let Dr.Do and Dr.Da diagnose your car problems and tell you weather to âheap-itâ or âkeep-itâ.
