Don’t Drive Like My Brother!!
What’s wrong with “The Good News Garage”? Unless youse guys would think Good News is a misleading description. In which case … well, haven’t you been misleading for 20 years now?
Looking forward to your next lousy show!
p.s. What was the name of the little girl who used to write you to tell you exactly how lousy she thought your show was? Maybe she would have an idea for a name.

Short Version: “Talk Shop” (permutation/derivation)
Long Version:
Well its obviously hard to name a show without knowing the theme, but from the character deets it seems we’ll see the behind the scenes of the show, not unlike “Home Improvement”/“Tool Time.” So, I was thinking the idiom “Talk Shop” or related (“Don’t Talk Shop!” “Shop Talk,” etc.) for several reasons. I imagine Tom and Ray “talk shop” (discuss work outside of work) about, say…ALL THE TIME. Talk shop could also imply a place where talk is “made,” such as a studio (where some of the cartoon will take place). The character details imply (to me) there will be a lot of character development in the shop with the actual studio-time being minimal (plot device?). This means a lot of dialog in the shop.

I am partial to “The Auto Grotto”.
Crusty’s Garage. I’ve been listening to the show for a long time, and Crusty just seems like a natural. Then again, this could cause Crusty to think he actually owns the shop.
I’m thinking, “A Wing Nut, A Loose Screw, & Lots of Gas”…but that may be a tad long! How about “The Click & Clack Caddy-wack (3rd) Half Hour”? OK, not much shorter. Good luck. I’m a fan regardless of the name. -Sal (no relation to the receptionist)
