The name of the new Car Talk TV Show should be:
The Fixits
(with a bent wrench placed under the name or at the end of the title)
Why, because these guys are a bit bent and on an animated cartoon these Fixits characters can run wild.
I believe we should use a variation of the series of books entitled “Complete Idiot’s Guide To…” and go with “Complete Idiot Guys Auto Repair Service” OR “The Men From C.I.G.A.R.S.” Seems to fit.
How about:
An otherwise perfectly good hour
or An otherwise perfectly good hour with Click and Clack?
Or maybe Car Junk?
or Our Lousy T.V. Show?
or my favorite: Disfunction Junktion …assuming PBS will let you spell it that way…

For example, (from the forum below the “Name the new Car Talk TV show!” box) CAR CRAZED, idiot lights, The Mechaniacs, and (in your e-mailed "The Time Kill Weekly) ALL suggestions except, possibly, Car Squawk!

Since I haven’t heard the subject of the show, and have no idea of it’s purpose, then, I would suggest, “Click and Clack: Yakety Yak.” That also suggests the theme song for the show!
