My 94 chevy k1500 makes a loud clicking noise when the key is turned on and off . down by where the blower motor is located?

The clicking noise lasts about 30 seconds

There’s vent door that’s suppose to open/close to prevent your ears from blowing out when slamming the door shut.

This is a common problem.

If you’ve been around long enough.

So what do i do

The recirculation door servo motor is failing, with the air conditioning on switch from fresh air to recirc to see if you can replicate the noise. If that is the problem replace the recirc door actuator servo motor.
