My 1992 Ford Explorer

My explorer has a 5 speed manual transmission and has a difficult time shifting when the car gets hot. I have replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders but is still has problems going into gear. It comes out of gear fine but is very difficult to get in and sometimes grinds. This truck has 112,000 miles but the clutch was replaced at 63,000 and I purchased the vehicle with 73,000 miles. I am wondering if it is the linkage or the clutch or what, any insight will help. Thanks!

Have you checked the transmission fluid level?

Tester

Yea, I forgot to mention that I had also changed the fluid about a month ago with no improvement

How did the pressure seem when you were bleeding the slave cylinder? (Assuming you did it yourself) It definitely sounds like a hydraulic problem to me-- maybe the rubber hose is collapsed?
