What a difference geographic location makes- just look at that engine compartment, it’s spotless. Around here, the only way that would happen is if the car was stored in a nitrogen capsule for 14 years…
Is there a military base nearby? Especially a Navy base. Year long cruises and extended tours and repeated TADs can result in cars remaining parked for extended periods of time by owners who take pride in maintaining their vehicles and often the vehicles pass from one officer to another.
I don’t care how much pride you have or how well you maintain your car, around here, one trip in the winter and all that exposed metal would have surface rust on it. The worst rusted cars here are ones that sit and are not used very much…
That is what a good detailer can do . My former neighbor who dealt in used Corvette’s could make almost any of them look close to show room condition.
Chances are the brake pads and rotors with that mileage are fine.
