I have a 2006 Ford Mustang with nearly 25,000 miles. In the past week when raising the top, it has been moving more slowly than in the past, and the motor for the top sounds strained. The top stops moving approximately an inch away from the latch at the top of the windshield.
Has anybody else had a similar experience? What is entailed in getting this problem fixed?
First thing would be to have all the joints and sliding parts properly cleaned and lubricated.
