Must 2023 Letsuck RX350h Cruise Control use forward-facing camera?

Driving blood redightsiren to a distant hospital.
Interstate hightway surface damp. Light snow, tiny flakes, apparently built up on the oval glass ( L ) emblem in the front grill.
Cruise Control turns off.

Can a Setting be changed so the Cruise Control still functions when the forward-facing camera in the ( L ) becomes obscured? (When the snow melts in warmer air, the Cruise Control can be set again.)

Also dislike when the RX350h slows for a curve, sometimes even brakes, though traveling at the speed limit through the curve is perfectly fine.

Thank you.

Read your owners manual for the answers to those questions. It should tell you if they can be turned off.

I would guess that the forward-facing camera in your Lexus RX 350h (which works with the millimeter-wave radar) monitors the distance, speed, and lane position of the vehicles directly ahead to maintain a set following distance. This system enables automatic braking, acceleration, and lane-centering to keep the vehicle at a safe distance.

So, I imagine that if the sensors cannot pick up the above mentioned information to function properly, it is not capable of disabling the safety features…

Toyota calls it Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)…

You are wanting to select Constant Speed Control Mode, or regular non DRCC mode…

Here is what my manual says to do, I think your Lexus is the same…

There is a good reason why DRCC does not work correctly when snowing…

EDITed to add...

Use the owners manual or the hundreds of Youtube vidios to solve the cruise control problem ?

Why would anyone do that ?

Please just use the name LEXUS

You’re NOT being cute when you call it something else

And it’s not funny, either

Never was

If you hate the car so much, sell it and buy a different brand

Put your money where your mouth is
