i have a 91 toyota mr2 non turbo. occasionaly when i come to a stop the engine will rev and then slow down repeatedly. if i hit the gas pedal it will stop doing this. this might happen only once or several times during my drive time. it has a new fuel pump,filter and strainer and a new air idle control valve. help…
There is a switch on the throttle that signals the computer to take control of the idle. It is likely faulty.
