My malibu has been sitting for 2 months in a garage and when I turn on the fan it sounds like mouse nest! What can I do to get it out???
Remove the blower motor/fan from under the passenger side dash.

is it located under the glove box? How difficult is this?
Stick your head up under the dash in front of the passenger set, look up with a flashlight, and you’ll see the ductwork. The fan is mounted in the ductwork.

It isn’t difficult in any technical sense - probably 3 or 4 screws or bolts. It can tend to get difficult in an acrobatic sense - in terms of what has to be done with the body to get yourself under there in the right way and doing what needs to be done.
