Has anyone had experience with this device or others like it they’d recommend? Is it as good as one that comes already installed in a later model car?
No. No aftermarket speakerphone is going to beat a fully integrated speakerphone that plays through your vehicle’s sound system. (I know it has an FM transmitter, but FM transmitters almost universally suck, especially in urban areas with a lot of radio stations).
If I need hands free calling in a car that doesn’t have it integrated, I use an earpiece.
