Emptying out the envelope from my bank’s drive up after receiving my money, a dime fell out and instantly slipped down the small gap at the back end (toward rear of car) of the stick shift area. Poof and it was gone. It seems to work okay, but I’m worried that it may work its way into someplace where it might cause problems.
Don’t sweat it. It fell down into the cavity underneath the console and will sit until the console is removed. The shifter mechanism is usually sealed so things like this don’t fall into it. Liquids may get it, but not a dime.
Thanks, that’s some relief. Apparently this shifter wasn’t seated so tightly.
