I think Tom & Ray missed this one deferring only to the MINI because it is front wheel drive. If the woman wants a MINI and her husband wants an RX8 because he’s a car guy, they should have compromised with the MINI Cooper S. This is easily an equally cool performance car for the guy, but she gets the car she wants. And this turbo S car gets killer mileage, and they could really spec it for fun with an Aero Kit, some funky paint and about 10,000,000 option permutations. I’m guessing that Tom (or was it Ray) is driving a non-S convertible if he feels exposed in a small car. Our MINI is built like a BMW only it’s lighter and more efficient.
