Been online searching the web for a good source of SLK parts. I checked out approx. 10 online companies, none of whom seem to sell a complete line of parts, although they claim to. Specifically, I need a right front fender sidelight assembly for a 1999 Mercedes Benz SLK230, chassis # 170.447(body electrical I would assume). I don’t know the exact name for this assembly. I’m trying to avoid going to my local dealership and maybe paying 3 times what the assy. is probably worth. But I’d also like a good alternative parts source. I know what your are thinking; why does this guy have to do this if he’s driving an SLK?

Not really. It’s a 1999 and only a 230. Tey are easily affordable - -to buy, at least.
The car is unusual enough that you will probably have to buy this part from the dealer, or find one at aq surplus yard. Have you checked junk yards on line or near you yet?
