It’s what you get out of the school. I think there’s a limit as to what you can get out of some schools. But there are some extremely good state schools. Friend of mine son when to a state school. And he was one of 2 candidates picked for a fellowship PHD program to Caltech in theoretical physics. He beat out the several hundred candidates applying even from places like MIT, Harvard.
Maybe I should have said we need you to keep us from getting sidetracked to far.
I mean, you have to be a little mad to put up with us hooligans for years, don’t you?
This is true until we get to the end of the track and have to backup to the main track we have come across a lot of interesting things on the way though.
Oh, don’t I know it, sometimes you get to the end of the line, the trip was horrible, it was expensive, you’ve bought a lot of useless “luggage” along the way, and worse of all, you learned nothing along the way and going back is at the bottom of your list. Sometimes, “jumping off” seems so much more inviting…
