Is ig coil failure a common feature of the MPV? Just got a surprise. Car has 70000k, so it’s not a kid, but shouldn’t something like that be warranty work?
That’s nothing, I recently had a blown engine on my 2004 Mazda6 with 81k on it. Mazda was of NO help. I also had a bad coil at around 70k. Mine came with a 4yr 50K warranty, so no, not covered, and is a fairly common problem. I believe both vehicles share the V6 Ford Duratec engine, no? I’ve loved the car, but given mazda’s alck of support i doubt I woudl by another Mazda.
